Case: International Sales Training

Medtronic came to Magnifi Group in search of a solution.

With 14 regions spanning the globe and 7 different languages spoken, they needed a way to institute a uniform training initiative for new and current sales representatives. Without any training system in place, we started from scratch.

To ensure a successful launch, we needed to address the following:

(1) the US division needed oversight of all international divisions,
(2) the seven languages needed to be integrated into the system
(3) thorough training and support would be available for the various sites

This is what we built.

We held an international training session for all region administrators in Memphis, TN. It consisted of a full day of hands-on interactive training, supported by the Magnifi Team as well as the Medtronic US Administrative team.

All, I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who was involved with the new online training… and let you know of some of our success. We recently completed our Mexico sales training with 27 distributor sales reps. We administered all the tests via the new online training tool, the reps were told a month ahead of time what modules to study, and we used the data collected each morning to tailor the training to what the group was deficient on. This highly customized and unique approach to training was a direct result of your hard work on this IEP training site...

Each sales rep will now receive a "lesson learning plan" based on their answers and we will be able to check their knowledge in 1, 2, or 3 months time. We can better assess their learning and continue to provide them with the information that they need.
